This 6 meter heating cable is specifically designed to protect drainage hoses and plastic pipes for condensate drainage from freezing during winter. With an integrated thermostat located between the hot and cold cables, the heating is automatically switched on at +2°C and off at +8°C, minimizing energy consumption while eliminating the risk of ice plugs.
The cable is fitted with a pre-assembled plug and is easily plugged into an earthed wall socket via an RCD. It also has a mounted rubber grommet for secure sealing at penetrations. The heating cable is strong, flexible and easy to install. Please note that it must not be used in pressurized water systems.
Frost protection capacity:
- Can handle 19 mm hose with 6 mm insulation down to -35 °C
- Can handle 25 mm hose with 6 mm insulation down to -28 °C
